Mt. Emei is the highest one among all the famous sight-seeing mountains in China

Mt. Emei is located in Leshan City, Sichuan Province. It is towering, beautiful, old and mysterious. Mt. Emei is like a huge green screen standing in the southwest of the Chengdu Plain. Looking its winding and beautiful figure, you will find that it resembles very much an eyebrow of a girl. It is the highest one among all the famous sight-seeing mountains in China. Welcome to China for Guangzhou fair. HRC is pleasure to provide Guangzhou hotels booking, China Tour guide, like Sichuan tour, Huangshan tour.

 724
Mt. Emei is a sacred Buddhist haven. It is one of the four most divine Buddhism Mountains in China. This Buddhist legacy mainly contained in the numerous temples and the buildings bears witness to the unusual historical role of the mountain in Buddhism development since the religion was introduced to China over 2,000 years ago. The mountain enjoys great popularity among Buddhists in China. Every morning streams of Buddhism pilgrims armed with joss sticks conquer the steep stairs of the mountain and swarm into the countless temples.

726
Today, Emei Shan is visited by thousands of Tourists and Pilgrims every year and during the summer month the easy accessible paths leading to the top can get really crowded.  Most people make it to the “Golden Summit” (Jin Ding) at 3’077 metres. A 1 hour walk along the mountain ridge leads to the Wanfo Peak, with 3’099 metres the highest point of Emei Shan. Wanfo Peak can also be reached via an overpriced monorail. The strenuous walk all the way from Baoguo village to the Golden Summit (Jin Ding) takes about 10 hours. Less keen hikers can take one of the frequent buses from Baoguo bus station to Wuxiangang, Wannian or Leidongping and start walking from there. There are many different paved walkways leading around and to the top of the mountain. Due to its location and altitude (over 3000m), botanists will find a unique biological diversity on the Mountain. Unfortunately, most of the original structures of the Temples and Monasteries where destroyed during time. Most of today’s 30 Monasteries have been rebuilt only recently. For those who do not want to spend the night on the mountain can use Baoguo village as a base to explore Emei Shan. The tickets cost between 100 and a 120 Yuan depending on the season and are valid for 2 entries into the park.

The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is one of Yunnan's protected nature reserves

Yulong ("Jade Dragon") Snow Mountain lies about 20 kilometers north of the city of Lijiang in the northwest corner of Yunnan Province. The mountain, which covers a total area of some 400 square kilometers, stretches about 32 kilometers in a roughly north-south direction, and about 13 kilometers in a roughly east-west direction. Jade Dragon Snow Mountain faces Haba Snow Mountain, with Tiger Leaping Gorge - and at its bottom, the Yangtze River, aka Jingsha River here in its upper reaches - barely separating them. Welcome to China, Chinatourguide.com is pleasure to provide service for your China tours or Cambodia tour, We also provide Guangzhou hotels for Canton Fair in guangzhouhotel.com.

 711
The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is one of Yunnan's protected nature reserves, and it has attracted the attention of many scholars and travelers.
The first impression the River of White Water (Baishuihe, Black Water River) leaves on travelers is the limpid water. The source of the river is the melting snow on the nearby mountain, and after undergoing a process of filtration on the nearby rocks, the water pours into the river a gorgeous clear color. Trees grow along either side of the riverbed while a little further away snow-capped peaks stand imposingly against the sky. It is possible to travel upriver either on foot or by horseback from here.

709
A chairlift has been built up the mountain. The first section takes you about halfway up, near Love-Suicide Hill, where you can rent horses to ride to a large meadow. The second chairlift, the highest in Asia, takes you to a stunning 4506m, where walkways lead to awesome glacier views. Watch out for the symptoms of altitude sickness here-Chinese entrepreneurs sell bags of oxygen to chain-smoking Chinese tourists for around 30 RMB.

Wat TraiMit houses the world's biggest gold Buddha image

Wat TraiMit is located at the end of Chinatown’s Yaowarat Road near the Bangkok Railway Station (Hua Lam Phong). This temple is known for its famous Golden Buddha, constructed during the Sukhothai period. The beautiful image of pure gold is three meters high and weighs five and a half tons. Wat TraiMit houses the world's biggest gold Buddha image, persumably 700 to 800 years old. It is a valuable treasure of Thailand and of Buddhism. Local worshipers worship here and rub gold leaf on the wat's other smaller Buddha images to make merit. Indochinatourguide is pleased to offer great service in your Thailand Tour.

t30
The actual temple has little architectural merit, but off to its side is a small chapel containing the world's largest solid-gold Buddha, cast about nine centuries ago in the Sukhothai style. Weighing 5? tons and standing 10 feet high, the statue is a symbol of strength and power that can inspire even the most jaded person. It's believed that the statue was brought first to Ayutthaya. When the Burmese were about to sack the city, it was covered in plaster. Two centuries later, still in plaster, it was thought to be worth very little; when it was being moved to a new Bangkok temple in the 1950s it slipped from a crane and was simply left in the mud by the workmen. In the morning, a temple monk who had dreamed that the statue was divinely inspired went to see the Buddha image. Through a crack in the plaster he saw a glint of yellow, and soon discovered that the statue was pure gold. There is also an excellent museum that follows the history of the Tha Chinese that is highly worth visiting.
Traimit’s temple building comprises four levels. One of the levels contains a museum, which explains the origin and history of The Golden Buddha. When I visited Traimit, the museum was displaying an exhibition about Chinese immigrants in Thailand.

Ta Som is a Buddhist temple

Ta Som is a Buddhist temple, built during the reign of King Jayavarman VII in 1186 and dedicated to the memory of his father. Ta Som is located just east of Neak Pean and in the north east of Angkor Thom.

In the past one of the significant features of Ta Som was the growth of fig trees the faces at the entrance towers. These have been cut from the east tower but they are still visible at the west one. Many people like it in Cambodia Tour.
The temple is oriented towards the east, although the modern tourist entrance is from the west; its towers are arranged in quincunx around the platform. Most have collapsed, and this, the east tower, is the only one left standing. It is seen here from the east, which was the original entrance to the temple.
The inner gopura has one entrance door top with a tower but not the face tower. Just like the second gopura, the inner gopura has its wings as small rooms decorated with delight Apsaras. The fronton of this inner gopura also has standing Alovaketesvara with devotees paying respect as praying, however, the fronton is now placed on the ground nearby.

The Sule Pagoda is a good starting point for exploring the city

The Sule Pagoda is located in the Downtown Area at the heart of Yangon (Rangoon), Myanmar and for centuries it has been the focus for the social and religious activities of the city.

b29
The Sule Pagoda was made the center of Yangon by Lt. Alexander Fraser of the Bengal Engineers, who created the present street layout of Yangon soon after the British occupation in the middle of the 19th century. (Lt. Fraser also lent his name to Fraser Street, now Anawrattha Street and still one of the main thoroughfares of Yangon). it is a Mon-style chedi (pagoda), octagonal in shape, with each side 24 feet long; its height is 144 feet, 9 l/2 inches. Except for the chedi itself, enlarged to its present size by Queen Shin Sawbu (1453–1472), nothing at the pagoda is more than a little over a century old. Around the chedi are ten bronze bells of various sizes and ages with inscriptions recording their donors' names and the dates of their dedication. Various explanations have been put forward for the name, of varying degrees of trustworthiness: according to legend it was called su-way, meaning "gather around", when Okkapala and the divine beings inquired about the location of Singattura Hill, and the pagoda was then built to commemorate the event; another legend connects it su-le, meaning wild brambles, with which it was supposedly overgrown, and a non-legendary suggestion links it to the Pali words cula, meaning "small" and ceti, "pagoda".Khin Maung Nyunt, from a series of articles on famous bells in Burma in the Working People's Daily: this article published 31 January 1988. Indochinatourguide.com is pleased to take you to grab a genuine Myanmar tour.
The pagoda is a good starting point for exploring the city. It is adjacent to the Mahabandoola Park housing colonial-style High Court and City Hall, and the lively Indian Town and Chinatown are also within walking distance.

Banteay Samre is among the wonderful temples in Angkor area

Banteay Samre is among the wonderful temples in Angkor area, Siem Reap, Cambodia. It’s an excellently restored Angkor Wat style temple with its single ogival tower. Banteay Samre locates on the eastern site of the East Baray, about 11 km north east of Siem Reap town.

 c40
There is a story associated with Banteay Samre. In this story, there was a poor farmer named Pou. He planted sweet cucumbers from seeds he received through some supernatural way. When he got his first harvest, he presented it to the king, who found it so sweet that he wanted it all for himself. He commanded Pou to kill anybody who enters the cucumber field.Indochinatourguide is pleased to offer great service in your Cambodia tour.

c41
Banteay Samre in Cambodia is somewhat "off the beaten track", located away from the more visited Angkor temples. The temple is named after the Samre, an ancient ethnic Indochinese tribe most likely related to the Khmers. Banteay, is a Khmer word for citadel. In its architecture and style the temple bears a very similar resemblance to both its neighbour, Banteay Srey, and the majestic Angkor Wat itself. Banteay Samre highlights would have to include the interior moat which when filled with water must have given the temple a mystical and peaceful sensation. And then of course, the temple's location and surroundings set within beautiful rice paddies and local villages.

Potala Palace is easily the most imposing manmade structure in the world

Potala Palace is known as the highest palace in the world and one of the most famous architectural works in the world. Standing on the Red Hill of Lhasa, the Potala Palace is a treasure house of Tibetan history, religion, culture, and art. The palace, well worth visiting for its artistic value, historic purposes, and cultural awareness, has been regarded as the No. 1 must-see attraction in Tibet. Interesting in Potala Palace Tour? HRC is pleased to offer great service to build a unique China tour for you.

 590
Perched atop Red Mountain in the western part of the Lhasa Valley, the Potala Palace looms over its surroundings at a staggering 3,700 meters above sea level (Mt. Fuji stands 3,776 meters tall). The palace is easily the most imposing manmade structure in the world at this elevation: a colossal fortress with a golden roof rising from a mountain top, surrounded by imposing turreted walls and entered via a number of gates. The majestic building unsurprisingly became a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1994.

591
Lozang Gyatso, the Great Fifth Dalai Lama, started the construction of the Potala Palace in 1645  after one of his spiritual advisers, Konchog Chophel (died 1646), pointed out that the site was ideal as a seat of government, situated as it is between Drepung and Sera monasteries and the old city of Lhasa.[3] It may overlay the remains of an earlier fortress, called the White or Red Palace,[4] on the site built by Songtsen Gampo in 637. Today, the Potala Palace is a museum.

Baphuon is a single sanctuary temple

The Baphuon temple was built around 1060, before the royal city of Angkor Thom was built around it. Largely collapsed and in ruined condition, the main temple area is undergoing extensive restoration and is not open to the public. The exterior entry gate and elevated walkway are open. Note the unique animal carvings at the walkway entrance, and the large reclining Buddha on the west side, added to the temple at a much later period. Most people like it in Cambodia tour.

c30
Baphuon is a single sanctuary temple – mountain situated on a high base. It was a symbolism of Moun Meru. A rectangular sandstone wall measuring (425 ms long x 125 ms wide)(1394 x 410 feet) enclosed the temple. A sandstone bridge which linked to the main temple’s (200 ms long x 2 ms wide x 1.5 ms high). It was supported by 3 rows of short sandstone columns. And it was flanked by two rectangular pools but nowadays it dries up. If we pass the two rectangular sandstone base with 5 levels that’s re approximately the same size; the first; second; and third levels; are surrounded by sandstone galleries. Baphuon was the first structure in which stone galleries with a central tower appear. There were originally connected by an elevated walkway supported by columns. The gallery of the enclosure collapsed and; at a later date; the stones from it were modeled into the shape of reclining Buddha that spans the length of the west wall the head’s on the left; facing the temple. It’s an abstract form and outline of this Buddha’s difficult to distinguish. A stairway leading in the summit begins in the middle of the Buddha.

Inle Lake is remarkably different from the three key tourist destinations of Myanmar

Inle Lake is remarkably different from the three key tourist destinations of Myanmar: Yangon, Bagan and Mandalay. It is significantly smaller compared to the aforementioned main cities. It does not have as many attractions, but it is an established tourist centre in the country. This is because Inle Lake presents its visitors a different side of Myanmar; it is an example of a rural countryside town that is calm and peaceful, perfect for a vacation of relaxation. The views are also amazing. Tourists get to see the diverse landscape of Myanmar through the areas that surrounds the lake. Most people like it in Burma tour / Myanmar tour.

 b16
Inle Lake is located in the centre of the greatest depression in Myanmar's Nyaungshwe Valley, situated between two mountain ranges. With a length of 22km, a width of 11km, and an elevation of 875 metres, Inle Lake is considered as the second-largest natural lake in the country. It is interesting to note that the lake does not have an actual shoreline, but its shores and islands are home to 17 villages on stilts.
Lake Inle is the second largest lake in Myanmar with an estimated surface area of 44.9 sq miles, and one of the highest at an altitude of 2900 feet. Inle Lake is in the heart of Shan State, about 400 km north of capital Yangon.

Pre Rup temple was constructed by the Khmer Empire during the Angkorian period in Cambodia

Pre Rup temple was constructed by the Khmer Empire during the Angkorian period in Cambodia. The beautiful rusty-red hue of the laterite and brick used to build Pre Rup is accentuated during sunset and stands in brilliant contrast to the lush green of the jungle in the distance. Most people like it in Cambodia tour.

An impressive work of impeccable proportions, constructed almost entirely of warm coloured materials (laterite and brick) at a time when sandstone was only used sparingly, Pre Rup needs to be visited either early in the morning or at sunset. Its relatively recent clearing required particular attention, the brick monuments needing special care in the removal of the soil, the fallen materials and the entangling roots. Any anastylosis being impossible, the restoration work was limited to some brickwork repairs and consolidation.

c26
Its architectural style is very similar to that of the earlier East Mebon, the major difference being the stepped pyramid of the Pre Rup that is missing in the East Mebon temple. The laterite and brick structure represents the five mountain peaks of the sacred mountain Mount Meru, the center of the universe in Hindu mythology.
The boldness of the architectural design of Pre Rup is superb and give the temple fine balance, scale and proportion. The temple is almost identical in style to the East Mebon, although it was built several yeas later. It is the last real 'temple-mountain ' Pre Rup was called the 'City of the East ' by Philippe Stern, a Frenchman who worked on the site.
The temple’s terrace can be difficult to scale. Its stairs are steep, so drink plenty of water, wear a good pair of walking shoes, and be prepared for some thigh-burning stair climbing.

In the early 20th century the Pre Rup had been completely overgrown and covered with soil. The temple was excavated during the 1930's by French conservators George Trouvé and Henri Marchal.
Square in shape the site is surrounded by two perimeter walls, the outer enclosure is a platform bounded by a laterite wall, 117 meters long by 127 meters wide with a causeway giving entry from the east. Within the inner enclosure either side of the eastern gate are a group of 6 towers aligned north to south, however one of the towers closest to the entrance appears to have been never built or removed at a later date.

Neak Pean is one of the renowned Buddhist temples in Angkor

Neak Pean is one of the renowned Buddhist temples in Angkor, Cambodia. It is located on an artificial island. It was built by Jayavarman VII at the end of 12th century. The term “Neak Pean” means “the entwined serpents”. As the sculptures of snakes run around the base of the temple structure, it derived that name. This temple was originally designed as a hospital and then it was transformed to a Buddhist temple. It is different from other temples in Angkor, as it was located on an island in the middle of the man-made reservoir. Most people like it in Cambodia tour.

c27
Neak Pean was built on the second half of the 12th century by King Jayavarman VII. It seems that the main pond was attributed curative powers by the Angkor inhabitants and it was possibly used as a pilgrimage place where people would come and bath in order to be healed both physically and symbolically. One of the theories maintains that the pond may be a replica of the Lake Anavatapta in the Himalayas, a mythical lake at the top of the universe that is source to the four great rivers of the earth.
The temple is faced by a statue of the horse, Balaha, saving drawing sailors. Neak Pean may have served an absolution function, and the waters were thought to have healing properties. During the dry season when the water is low, check out the animal and human headwater spouts at the outside center of each pool. Neak Pean is most photogenic in the wet season, when the pools are full.

Banteay Srei is a temple in Cambodia built in honor of female deities

Banteay Srei is a temple in Cambodia built in honor of female deities, representing strength, unity, and safety. This pilot is now sustained as an organization that provides social support, healing arts, reproductive health education, life skills-building, leadership development to young Southeast Asian women impacted by sexual exploitation in their communities. Most people like it in Cambodia tour.

 c18
The Banteay Srei is located 20 kilometres from Angkor Thom at the foot of the Kulen Mountains. Submerged in the forest in its earlier days, the Banteay Srei was not included in the first archaeological listing, and was only rediscovered when it was reported by an official in the geography department in 1914.
The Banteay Srei comprises of 4 enclosures containing a moat and several structures. Within the fourth enclosure (the most outer one) is a processional walkway leading to the main Eastern entrance. The walkway was lined by galleries on either side, of which most of the sandstone pillars are still standing.

C21
Both pediments and lintels on the galleries contain very finely carved ornamentations. Among them are a depiction of Viradha who abducts Sita, a scene from the Indian epic Ramayana. Others show Indra riding the three headed elephant Airavata, Varuna, the God of the oceans, Vishnu, Shiva, Uma and Nandi, the sacred bull.
The third enclosure consists of a wall, about 100 meters long that enclosed a moat, which is now dry. Across the moat is a causeway leading to the Eastern and Western entrance gopuras, that are guarded by lions.

The best times to visit the Bridge are just after sunrise or just before sunset

Amarapura biggest draw and easily one of Myanmar's most photographed sites is this remarkable 1.2 km long teak footbridge leading across the shallow Taungthaman Lake in Myanmar Mandalay division. Still strong after 200 years, the world's longest teak span sees a lot of life; Myanmar fishers casting aline into the water, locals walking their bicycles home to Taungthaman village across the lake and Myanmar monks in saffron robes carrying alms bowls between Myanmar monasteries on both sides. Most people like it in Burma tour / Myanmar tour.

The best times to visit the Bridge are just after sunrise or just before sunset, when hundreds of villagers commute back and forth across it. A popular sunset activity is hiring Myanmar boats to get close up looks of the 1060 post bridge from the water. In the dry season, however the lake dwindles greatly in size in Mandalay Myanmar.

Sihanoukville is a colourful but tragic upstart. A mere fifty years ago

In a land with thousands of years of history, Sihanoukville is a colourful but tragic upstart. A mere fifty years ago, a French-Cambodian construction carved a camp out of the jungle and started building the first deep-sea port of a newly independent Cambodia. Named Sihanoukville in 1964 after the ruling prince of Cambodia, the booming port and its golden beaches soon drew Cambodia's jetsetting elite, spawning the first Angkor Beer brewery and the modernist seven-story Independence Hotel which, claim locals, even played host to Jacqueline Kennedy on her whirlwind tour of Cambodia in 1967. Most people like to travel in Sihanoukville in their Cambodia tour.

 c16
Alas, the party came to an abrupt end in 1970 when Sihanouk was deposed in a coup and Cambodia descended into civil war. The town – renamed Kompong Som – soon fell on hard times: the victorious Khmer Rouge used the Independence Hotel for target practice and, when they made the mistake of hijacking an American container ship, the port was bombed by the U.S. Air Force. Even after Pol Pot's regime was driven from power, the bumpy highway to the capital was long notorious for banditry and the beaches stayed empty.
Sihanoukville was founded as a port town half a century ago, but these days is as much a beach town and tourist destination, catering to weekenders from Phnom Penh and a steadily increasing number of foreign visitors. The town sits on a beach lined peninsula jutting into the Gulf of Thailand and the pace of life in this provincial town is very relaxed and unhurried. The beaches offer umbrellas, thatched roofed eateries and bars and an ever growing number of restaurants, pubs, bungalows and a range of hotels, all making for a laid-back, beachy atmosphere and a great little tropical getaway. Sihanoukville is a place to unwind by the beach, enjoy the fresh from-the-ocean seafood, party at the bars and happenings, take in an island or scuba trip and generally slow down, lay back and chill-out.

Inle’s tomatoes are the finest in Burma

The form of “paddling leg” is most often used by local fishermen, and the style would be something like this: one foot rests on the stern of the boat, and the other leg is wrapped to hold the oar and propel against water. Most people like it in Myanmar tour or Burma tour package.

B10
Seed is planted in the fertile mud and the young plants are supported by bamboo canes. Depending on the season they are used for tomatoes, cucumbers, gourds and pulses, but are, unsurpringly, not suitable for root vegetables. There’s plenty of space to grow onions, garlic and carrots on dry land around the shore of the lake, and rice is also prolific here.

b08

Inle’s tomatoes are the finest in Burma and are picked green, or just blushing, and transported all over Burma during the 8 month growing season. They are used to make a classic Burmese tomato salad, which includes sliced tomato (no pips), sliced shallots and peanuts, bound in a sesame seed dressing.

Architect Dang Viet Nga has acknowledged elements of the structure

Known as the “Crazy House,” it’s easy to see how this 10-room guesthouse in Northern Vietnam got its nickname. Architect Dang Viet Nga has acknowledged elements of the structure as being fairy tale-ish, as well as an homage to Antoni Gaudi. We’re not sure which fairy tale includes giraffes or caged hens and guinea fowl, but hey, to each their own. Most people like it in Vietnam Tour or Vietnam Cambodia Thailand Tours.

v27
Designed by the daughter of the former president who studied in Moscow, the Hang Nga Guesthouse resembles a giant banyan tree with cave-like rooms, spiderweb windows and staircases extending up and over the roof. There are no rectangular or round windows or mattresses: it’s a mess of twists and turns and amorphous shapes.

V29
Simply put: it’s weird. Construction continues–similar to Gaudi’s Sagrada Familia that won’t be finished for hundreds of years–but it doesn’t seem to be getting any prettier. Vietnamese architect Dang Viet Nga was inspired by Gaudi, apparently in construction planning as well as expressionist design.
