According to descriptions of literature，Dali Old Town was a gateway to the Silk Road in Southwest China，and also served as a seat of government and a major military barracks for Yunnan Province in ancient times. The Jade Dragon Snow Mountain is one of Yunnan's protected nature reserves, and it has attracted the attention of many scholars and travelers.
The first impression the River of White Water (Baishuihe, Black Water River) leaves on travelers is the limpid water.
