How to get to the Wat Benchamabophit

Wat Benchamabophit is another of Bangkok's wonderful temples. The "Marble Temple" features traditional Thai architecture blended with European influences to make a unique building in the plethora of Bangkok temples. The cloister behind the ordination hall features Buddhas of many styles while inside the hall, the Phra Buddhajinaraja, constructed of 2.5 tons of bronze sits atop the ashes of King Rama V. How to get to the Wat Benchamabophit
The Wat Benchamabophit is located on the intersection of Thanon Rama V and Thanon Si Ayutthaya. Since there is no BTS Skytrain or MRT Subway station nearby, the best way to get there is by metered taxi. A visit to the marble temple can easily be combined with with the Vimanmek Mansion and the Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall, since they are just a few hundred meters apart.
